Beacon Appliance Repair and Service

I do not recommend this company! The repair guy was friendly with me but when he dealt with my wife he was very rude. They replaced some parts but they were not the issue. My warranty company reached out to Beacon multiple times to get info about the services done and they never responded via email and phone calls.

We’ve always had great experiences with Beacon. They’ve helped us out and just recently took care of mom.

My in-laws had an appointment to get their dryer checked because their dryer has not been drying properly. The technician, Wes Swarbrick, came out to check it out. He told my father-in-law that he was limited on time. First off, that is already telling us that he didn't care to do the job. He complained that their laundry space was too "small" to thoroughly check. Yes, the space is a bit tight, but it is manageable to get behind to look at it. Apparently, he didn't have the proper tools to do the job, and he said that they're not allowed to go onto the roof (I understand for safety reasons), however, the dryer vent duct runs out and up through the roof in their house. I don’t know why this place does not have the best reviews. I had to make a claim on my home warranty & beacon appliance was assigned. I called them to schedule, they came next day, the guy was at my house for less than 5 minutes he knew what the problem was immediately . He ordered the part that week they called me to schedule to come & install the new control panel on my dishwasher. They had openings pretty much right away. He came and replaced the part in less than ten minutes and was out of my house. Not sure the comments about them being rude? He was down to business maybe because he wasn’t super chatty & didn’t sit and talk to me forever not sure if that is why people are saying that? he’s busy and has a full day of appointments all over I would imagine. Beacon was dispatched to fix my washing machine through my Home Warranty. You never know who or what you'll get when they put you in a rotation for service providers. I was alerted that Beacon was dispatched and they would be in touch. The scheduler called me within 24 hours as promised and got me scheduled within 48 hours of making my initial claim. They gave me a 3 hour window of service time (not bad compared to some) & the technician called me before coming over. He got everything fixed same day and was very polite & friendly. Would definitely recommend.
