Michael and his team completed two projects to prepare for new insulation in the attic of our 1899 house. They replaced a simple 'hatch' attic door with a pull-down step ladder and added an additional gable vent. The work took only two days and looks great. Would certainly hire them again. Like all good, local tradesmen, they are very busy. Just stay flexible with scheduling and you'll be rewarded with excellent work.

Mike and his crew did a beautiful job building our house. They kept to their proposed schedule, worked quickly and kept the job site well organized. The project came in under the estimated price. It was a pleasure to have Mike and his crew work on my challenging closet project. Nothing in this old house is straight or level, but --voila! -- I have a beautiful and functional closet. In addition to being an excellent carpenter, Mike is also an attentive listener and thorough communicator (He returns calls!! Imagine that!). His estimates are accurate and fair. I was so glad I found Belfast Carpentry and I heartily recommend them to others. Mike did an excellent job replacing our 50-year old single pane bathroom window that didn't open with a new double pane vinyl window, as well as repairing and re-insulating the wall around it and replacing the siding. He and his team did the job very efficiently and neatly and did exactly what he said would do in his estimate. It was great to communicate with Mike throughout the entire process, from visiting on site to look at the job, to follow up with his estimate and scheduling. Since I wasn't there when they did the work he sent me photos of every major step and was in close communication throughout the day.
