BELFOR Property Restoration

The staff at Belfor was extremely helpful, courteous, and most importantly honest with their work. There was great communication between the back office and field techs and getting the job done. When you're in "damage control" position, it's a great feeling when you know you're not being taken for a ride.

If i could give zero stars I would. The remediation after our loss was dine well - no complaints. However i highly recommend not using them fir your restoration. I will keep this short. They did not record what was demo'd and installed different types of flooring in different areas of our house. Most of the work was done over with complaints and arguments, but our basement floor was never completed. Our insurance company had to hire an additional contractor to finish - and confirm what Balfor did was done wrong. Before writing this I spoke to the regional executive and he offered no apologies or compensation. Find someone else.

On May 15,2018 my sister and her family were affected in a horrible wind storm in Newburgh NY that resulted in her apartment building being condemned. At the time the property management called in Belfor Property Restoration to help. They came in and had all of the tenants sign a form that gave them permission to pack up and store their belongings while the building was restored. Seven months later my sister was told that there is an $11,000 bill that must be paid before retrieving her belongings. They informed her that her renters insurance covered $2,000. My sister and I have made multiple calls requesting an itemized invoice to explain why the bill is $11,000 for 7 months of storage and they still have not provided an invoice. Unapologetically called us not mere hours after our experiencing one of the greatest tragedies one can experience and tried to pitch us on their home restoration services, I’d give them zero stars if I could.

During the COVID -19 Shut down, the Town of Carmel contracted BELFOR to clean and disinfect the premises as well as the Police Department. They were professsional, efficient and responded in a timely manner.
