BELFOR Property Restoration

I so appreciated the work that Ken and his team did on my condo when a fridge leak ruined our floor. They made a bad situation a lot more manageable. When I informed them that they had missed the water damage in the crawl space, they were quick to come back and correct the problem. Highly recommend Belfor for your property restoration needs!

We had an issue in our kitchen 19 months ago. Belfor was sent by our insurance company to mitigate and fix it. Thing after thing was done incorrectly. Nothing is ever done right the first time with these guys and they keep the same people in charge no matter how much they screw up or how much you complain and ask to talk to the people in charge. We have been told that we will hear from someone the next day about something and weeks will go by with no movement, even with us reaching out to them. Only the subcontractors who Belfor has hired have been any good, including the most recent one who had to come and redo parts of the kitchen floor that Belfor originally screwed up. You can see the difference in his work compared to the original work as the most recent work is exceptionally better.

Had an emergency water leak on a Sunday evening and had a great experience with Belfor. They showed up quickly after I called my insurance company to begin the mitigation process, and made sure all the hardwood was dried out and preserved. The team handled the demolition professionally, and responded promptly and thoroughly to any requests. Based on those experiences, I also opted to have Belfor perform the restoration. All in all, I would absolutely work with Belfor again. Their entire team was responsive and a pleasure to work with. Very happy with the finished product as well.

We had water damage and were referred to Belfor through our insurance company. The level of unprofessionalism from Belfor has been so disappointing. We have been trying to get the damage remediated since February, and it’s now the end of June. The project manager is unresponsive most of the time, has lost multiple documents and photos/videos of the damage that their own employees have been out to take several times, and has told me that work I’m requesting isn’t within the scope of the protect, even though it is clearly stated within the project scope estimate that they provided to us. They communicated well up to when they received our portion of the deductible, but since then, it has been quite a chore to follow up repeatedly with them to get them to do the work they agreed to.
