Benchmark Aluminum Inc

After building a new home and later installing a pool and screen cage I am very happy to recommend Benchmark Aluminum and Construction! From the onset Chris was very informative as well as the entire staff keeping us posted along the way. I do know with the recent building boom, permits are taking an excessive amount of time to get and was told that at the onset but Chris kept us updated and called back each time I called. The quality is impeccable and all the workers were courteous and kept the site very neat and clean. Extremely professional company!

We had our house built starting last year and it was completed this May. We had our lanai extended and screened in. After we were in our house for about a month and looking everything over more closely we noticed that the cage looked crooked along the back wall. We were told by the builder that this was something we needed to deal with with Benchmark the company they used to install the cage. We first couldn’t get anyone on the phone and when we left messages and numerous emails; we truly were getting very frustrated with the “run around” . Finally a Leeann responded to our email and said that the gentleman we were dealing with ; unsuccessfully; (Michael St. Germaine) was on vacation but she passed our information on to a supervisor and he would be out to look at our cage. Jackie, one of the owners, arrived to give us a quote to install new screens and frames on our lanai. She had it calculated within an hour. It was supposed to begin in 4 to 6 weeks. However, another job was waiting for a part delivery, so they were able to do ours in 2 weeks from the day we signed the contract. Rich did a professional job. He was alone so it took 3 days. The out come was awesome. The only complaint is that they did not notify us of the starting date. It was a total surprise when Rich just showed up one morning in our backyard.

Unfortunately due to COVID we could not be there to monitor the construction of a screened porch addition to our Florida vacation home. The project was completed without us being able to follow the process or see the final outcome. 10 months after signing the contract and a couple months after the project completion we are finally able to see the end result. We have been pleasantly surprised and very happy with the quality of the project, the appearance, and the workmanship. Will definitely use them again for a few future projects already on the to do list.

Buyer Beware if you are using Benchmark Aluminum now. We used them to construct a new pool cage and gutters four years ago. We now need some service work done (willing to pay for it) and they provide no service after one year warranty is up. I was told to call a handyman. Bad company policy to provide no service calls, in my opinion. Would not recommend.
