Benson Movers

Worst experience ever. They moved one box at a time. One pillow at a time. Never put anything on the dolly. I have 1 bed 1 sofa and a dresser. They took 6 hours to move my house and I moved 15 mins away. When I complained to the owner Ali or Eli he brushed off the fact that the movers were late and lazy. He ooffere me a 50 dollar discount and he threated to 'see me around' if I did not pay him. Do not use this company, they will drag outt the job and try to run up the price. And to add injury to insult my brand new white rug is missing. Lazy thieves!

I've moved at least 6 times over the past 10 years, and this was by far my worst experience. The movers had me down for a different date than I had scheduled for and told me they may not be able to move me on the date I had actually scheduled for; they were unempathetic and did not apologize for this mistake. It also didn't seem like the movers were trying to move quickly, and they could have been nicer. They charged me for an extra hour, and they added on a 6% tax that was not on the original invoice they gave me. When I contacted the manager, Al, to discuss, he did not respond. I sent a followup email, and he did not respond to that either.

I have used the Benson Movers of Baltimore last month when we moved from our old 2 BR apartment to a new house. The movers who helped us were punctual, friendly and very efficient. They made the stressful process of moving seem effortless and easy. I highly recommend them, will definitely use their moving services again. Carol Rothenthal

If you want frustration beyond belief then this is your company. To start they were 45min late. Then very dismissive and clueless on what to do without instruction. Doing useless stuff like carrying a lamp, one pillow, a empty water jug really dragging and wasting your time. Often I had to scold the workers for returning to empty rooms with nothing to move!! So when called out they would disappear into work truck . Same thing unloading one bag one box never using dolly to stack boxes. Omg they question over and over where every labeled item should go . Leaving bathroom bedroom livingroom boxes in kitchen as if unable to read . Really not one box in correct room. Please run You will not get price you were quoted they have no tools no tape no rope not even box cutter Just run! Run!

This company has the worst movers in the world. They are very disorganized and messy clumsy they will tear up your furniture and think nothing of it. I would not recommend this company to anyone who is looking to spend money two thumbs down .
