Berger & King

My furnace stopped blowing warm air. Not usually a big issue but last night we got about 20 inches of snow and I was surprised Berger & King answered the phone. Most businesses were closed. I was hoping to get on the list for furnace repairs. I was thinking I'd be awhile. I was shocked when they said they would be there in a few minutes. The Tech was excellent. "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." They had me up and running in less than an hour. Great attitude as well.

Had emergency after hours because dte found a bead leak. Berger and king showed up within an 1 hour of gas turn off. I had moved everything out of their way so he could cut a 2inch section of pipe and put a union on. Didn't have a union so he left and went to the shop. Came back 15min later. Fixed it. Then proceeded to put bolts all around my basement to help hold up the gas pipe. Never asked just soaked up more time. Then hung around and bullshitted with the dte guy outside my house. 20.00 overtime fee 1.5 hrs of labor 265.00 Parts were under 10.00 Was not here for 1.5hrs Last place I would call unless your sol

Ryan was incredibly helpful with a heat emergency. He was able to help us out at 1 in the morning getting the heat fixed in an elderly relatives home. Absolutely couldn't be happier with the service!

Unprofessional, unreliable and will charge you a lot of money for their mistakes.These guys were the only ones who were available to come out and replace a zone valve. The guy that showed up wasn’t very friendly and seemed rushed. He had to go back to the office and get parts which seemed to irritate him even more. Even though they charged me the labor for him driving back to the office for parts He should’ve brought in the first place. After replacing the zone valve, he said I was good and rushed out of here. After returning from work that night the heat still was not working. I ended up calling them back. It was a weekend and would’ve been charged extra for weekend hours. Thanks to Aaron and staff at Berger & King. They responded to my call regarding the pilot on my water heater. It became temperamental, and upon discovering its age, I ordered a new one. It was installed immediately following the weekend and at an affordable price. The tank had to be realligned so, not a simple installation. The thermostat was behind and difficult to manage.
