Best American Movers did our move from Pikeville to Fort Lauderdale. I was very nervous due to a really bad move with another company. I was so wonderfully surprised! The crew was fantastic!. They were so efficient. Careful with all of our furniture and boxes. We had some furniture delivered before they arrived and they worked hard and late to put it all together for us. These movers are professional, honest, personable, efficient, knowledgeable, kind, respectful, prompt, patient and every other positive adjective you can hope for. I would definitely use these men again. I hope you will give them your business. They made a stressful day non stressful. Thank you Eric and Ali and the young man with you.

Anvar and his crew were truly professional in every sense of the word! They were very efficient and extremely careful with all of our items from start to finish. My wife had chosen Best American Movers based on how communicative they were, from the first time she called them and spoke to Arlene, who went through every room with my wife so throughly and working through the coordination efforts with Pauline has made what I expected (usually) a stressful experience, so streamlined and easy for us to manage as we sold and bought our new home. We had a terrible experience with Best American Movers. After a phone call to review all of our belongings, Mike quoted us an estimate of around $4,600, at about 100 cubic feet, to move from Virginia to Florida. That was similar to what we paid a national chain a year earlier for the inverse trip. But once the movers got everything in the truck, suddenly the bill was nearly $8,000. They claimed our belongings took up 150 cubic feet. The company insisted we had more belongings than initially estimated. We dispute that -- in fact, we sold several major pieces, including a crib and a big BBQ, before the move. Be wary of their "estimates." The company also hires locals off Craigslist to unload the cargo. They were not experienced movers who can reassemble furniture. I thought I would be a good

Best American Movers assisted with our move from MD to DE. Our original quote was 2400 give or take a few dollars. However, we ended up paying more due to added materials that needed to be used to pack our furniture etc. Additionally, we had packed our own boxes and marked them accordingly (i.e. very fragile or fragile). We packed crystal, and glasses with care (bubble wrap and packing paper). Crystal glasses that my Father brought back from Vietnam as a gift for my Mother were shattered. My 3 star review is for that alone. I give 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the continuous communication and professionalism from Jay, the office staff, to Alex's crew. What we appreciated the MOST was that they held our belongings for 3 days at NO extra cost until the settlement of our new home in DE. Thank you.
