I shop at best buy at least a few times a year, usually a big ticket purchase, as most do. Usually, I have a pleasant experience with staff who are generally helpful. That wasn't the case today. I returned an item that didn't work for me at the cashier. I told them I did not like the item and so was returning it. I was given the impression from the person this was not a favorable reason. The person then took the box completely apart and checked the item. I can understand this, as I understand people try to commit fraudulent returns often and the store must inspect returned merchandise. While the person inspected it, I initiated some conversation in a light tone, to which there was no response. I had nothing but compliments about the service and the good intentions of the employees, until I dumped a woman with colored hair at geek squad. Not only was she rude but she gave me misinformation about my computer she told me it was not fixed when it had been. I then ask her why there was no fixes done she became very aggressive. I've waited 7 days for my PC just to be told that nothing was done to it. But here is the truth the PC was repaired it was all set to go but she refused to mention it.

Straight up negligence! I went in Saturday at noon for my scheduled appointment for what should have been a routine iPhone battery replacement. I was told that my phone would be done “for sure” by Sunday evening. Well Sunday rolls around and I don’t see an email but I decide to walk in to get an update I wait for 30 minutes and then I’m told they were working on it and it should be done “for sure” by Monday at 3pm and since I had to leave for University the next day I needed it done ASAP. I tell them that and they claim they will escalate it to emergency or a faster repair status. Well Monday at 3pm comes and still no email so I once again go in person and I’m finally told the truth and they haven’t even started the repair. I left this store in tears after being harassed to pay $84 in sales tax. I went into Best Buy to purchase a gaming PC for my spouse and had 3 sales associates harass me to pay $84 in sales tax instead of shipping it to my home as originally intended. They questioned me repeatedly on the happiness of my relationship with my spouse and told me because I live in Oregon and don’t regularly pay sales tax I should pay for the sales tax on the PC to make my spouse happy for once. I tried to call in my complaint after composing myself but was unable to reach management. I will never shop at this location again.

Literally the worst experience I've ever had with Best Buy! My delivery has been canceled 3 times now due to 'special requirements' and is now stuck because the delivery team hasn't changed the status from "out for delivery" and there is nothing they can do about it for another 3-5 business days even though the order is almost a month old already. I have had zero contact from anyone while trying to fix the issue and I can only ever reach a call center and ever call gives me different information and tells me the last rep gave me false information.
