BFS Home Warranty

Buyers be aware!!!! We bought into BFS Home Warranty right after we closed on our house in Pasco County. Right away after closing something was not right with our air conditioner. It wasn't keeping up. I called the warranty company and they sent out a technician. The technician inspected it and said we need a new air conditioning system. I said great it's covered right?!? The technician said we'll usually it is. Not in your case, you have a mismatch unit. Meaning someone replaced it at one time using 2 different unit and it's not matching. The technician then stated we do not warrant this. Not only did we look at the fine printing on the contract so did our realtor looked at the contract as well. We purchased the service plan from BFS after we purchased our new home a year ago. No one came out to access anything they just took our payment. This year our Air condition system stopped working and we called them for service. A technician comes to our home in flip flops and states we do NOT service this Air Condition. Didnt bother even looking at the air handler in the attic and took my $55 deductible for service call. This company is horrible, unprofessional and completely a scam. Between the calls to their operator which has a attitude and their condensing manager I would not recommend purchasing this "warranty plan"

BFS saved us thousands of dollars after being taken advantage of by a local AC company, to whom we were immensely loyal to for years (Extreme Air). The other company claimed we had a problem with our AC which did not actually exist. After having us spend thousands of dollars in repairs, and wanting us to spend even more, BFS came out and quickly repaired our unit at a fraction of the cost. We could not be happier with the service they provided. Highly recommend them!

This home warranty company is horrible!!! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Customer service (DAWN) is very unprofessional and rude! My microwave went out and the first tech recommended a new microwave so they sent out another tech (CHRIS) for a second opinion and he so called fixed the switch and here I am again having to contact this rude company to have them come back out and fix my microwave for the SAME ISSUE!!! They refuse to install a new microwave, but keep charging me the deductible which was $55 the first time and now is $75. So that's a total of $130 that I've paid in less than a year to have them keep coming back out to "fix" my microwave FOR THE VERY SAME ISSUE!!! Dawn even told me WE WILL NOT BE GIVING YOU A NEW MICROWAVE NO SIR!!! That's what she said to me! How rude and

This company is a poorly dressed scam or ran by incompetent leadership. Customer service representatives can only transfer you, then someone might answer your call to get a quote. No option to do a quote online, no option to speak to another rep. If you are in FL DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. BEWARE.
