BiltRite Home Inspections

Had an initial inspection with Hunter O'Steen and a follow-up re-inspection with Chuck Nash. Here's my ~one year later review as a first time homebuyer. I believe both inspectors have done a poor job at identifying problems with the newly constructed house. For example, the dryer plug was pulling low voltage and therefore our unit wasn't drying clothes at all, made us go through 3 different dryers before realizing that the problem was the plug that was incorrectly setup by the builder. This was a simple miss that should have been noticed right away by Hunter or Chuck during their respective inspections. Another simple but again a miss was a sink in the master bathroom that collapsed on me during unclogging. Reality was that the sink on the granite was attached via clips and the builder on

Our inspector, Chuck Nash, was very thorough in his review of the property. Once the inspection was completed, Chuck took time to carefully review the results and explained his coding for each category of the report. Where there were questions prompted by either my realtor or myself, Chuck led us to that location and thoughtfully explained the concern. When we departed the property, Chuck offered his business card and reiterated his commitment to answer any further questions if needed. Chuck's ability to complete the work demonstrated his high level of professionalism.

Chuck was extremely thorough and took his time to make sure nothing was overlooked. He explained things clearly and answered all of my questions along the way. His attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence in the process. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a careful and professional inspection.
