Had them install 2 deadbolts. Said I needed better than a grade 3. I'd called USCAN in Minneapolis, was told the model # they installed was grade 3. Was told at least 3 times before they left they were a grade 2. Have a message she left me stating they are definitely grade 2. He called and said they'd install grade 2 for another $180. I'd paid them $400. They cost the same as the grade 3 they installed. I paid $55 per lock. And I have to wiggle the door to make them lock & unlock.

I’m very satisfied with there service I had a snowmobile that ended up getting the key snapped off on a trail and called them and they fit me in and made a key for me from the two pieces of the snapped one and it works great! They went above and beyond what they would have had to for me and I appreciate it! Support your local business!!

Get a quote before getting work done. I have an old house and was trying to change an inside door knob from brass to silver. My door had a hole too small to accommodate the larger door handle. They arrived on time and were very friendly. They chiseled out the hole of the door so that the new door handle fit. It took them 10 mins. They charged $45 for the silver door handle and I know you can buy one for $15 anywhere, but I thought, sure I will pay more for a local business. I was about to pay her and she said she needed to go out to her truck to write up a receipt. For 10 mins of work I was charged $125 for labor plus the $45 for door handle. I’m not rich and my house is old.I think they deceived me by charging an hourly rate of $750 for a no rush no after hours job. I will post this to as

I drove from Ely MN because I heard Biss was the best around. The drive was totally worth it! Steve helped me out in a timely fashion and was very kind and humble. This business has a lot of history; super cool to see a small family owned business helping out the community. This place is a must go. Do not hesitate to use Biss

Bob is a great guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. He also helped us find someone close to us for body repair and told me where the power was draining from my vehicle because he had the same problem with the same make and model of his own. Next time I need help he is who I am calling.
