His employees are very nice and treat your property & the work you are having done as if it was their own. One of my favorite parts was having their trailer on site the entire time which made for great advertising for his company, way better than those signs that get put into your lawn. When we were shopping for quotes for our backyard renovation we decided to call Black Bear because the work we saw online was beautiful. It turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made. Not only is their work beautiful but they are professional, timely, detailed, and friendly. They went above and beyond without being asked to. Every detail was thought out and had purpose. Their experience showed throughout the project as obstacles arose and they were able to seamlessly overcome them without hesitation. I couldn't be happier with the work Black Bear Masonry Design did on my patio and retaining wall. Our previous retaining wall was deteriorating and causing safety concerns. The new retaining wall is structurally sound, fixed drainage issues, and created a beautiful, functional area. They also poured concrete sonotubes for my deck, which was done with great precision. We recently hired Black Bear Masonry for a complete backyard renovation, and the results exceeded all expectations. We hired Black Bear Masonry to replace and expand our patio as well as patch our asphalt after our street was replaced and they were great! Mark was always approachable and responsive with communication (which is huge these days). They worked quickly and did beautiful work, they cleaned up after themselves and hosed all of our furniture down, cleaned the driveway etc. They were extemely professional, courteous and they stand behind their work.
