The roofers came at 6 in the morning to start roofing on July 5th. No one told us they would come that early, so was a little annoyed to get woken up by people banging on our roof. They parked in our grass, so I have two sets of tire indents in our grass now. They did get most of the roof done that day, and came back on Saturday to finish some last minute touches. They did leave their trailer in our driveway overnight and it was blocking my husbands car in the garage. I texted the person I was communicating with during the whole thing I believe a little before 8, and unfortunately didn’t reply til the afternoon so we had to cancel plans because I needed my car to get to work that morning. I am so pleased with the work this company did. They were here at 7:30 & all finished by 4. They made sure everything was picked up & put everything back in place. We lost a good size section of our roof in the Aug 10 Derecho and they have been absolutely outstanding to work with and super responsive to me since day 1. They came today with a large crew and did our whole roof in one long 14.5 hr day. They are diligent, respectful, responsive and left the yard spotless. Shawn Kelly II was so patient, and helpful to our Condominium Association with a hail claim. He stuck with us for over a year and provided proof and photos as well as meeting with adjusters multiple times for our insurance company. When we finally received our claim reward, he and his team completed the roofs in an efficient manner, plus he went above and beyond to work with us on the bid price so we could replace all of our roofs rather than repair some. Highly recommend!

Black Hawk installed a new roof for me after the hail damage earlier this year. Process was very smooth and timely. After they were done, I did notice a couple of cap shingles that were a little discolored (maybe just from different batches?) and Black Hawk was very responsive in coming out and replacing them. A few months later a derecho blew through with 100 mph winds, uprooting trees and causing massive property around town. We had zero damage to our roof. No lost shingles Overall, great work and will use again.
