Black Mountain Inc.

I contacted Black Mountain, Inc. in reference to a 1/2-acre parcel of land that I needed cleared for the construction of a new building. The parcel was heavily wooded with some trees exceeding 80 feet in height and diameters approaching 24". Matt came, looked at the project and gave me a cost. Within a week he was on the job and another week later it was completed. Black Mountain Inc. removed all the trees, tops. and stumps to an offsite location. Once that was done, Matt and his team backed filled the stump holes, graded the site, then seeded and mulched to prepare for winter. As with any project there were changes I wanted made as the job progressed. This was not a problem and Matt was very accommodating. Great machines. Great operator. Matt is a problem solver and reliable. He dug some very big holes and set the giant stones for The Wandering Wall at The Ruins Project. We hope to have him back in 2024!

I have been working with Matt to process firewood for years. Good friendly service and he’s always thinking and improving the process and equipment. Definitely recommend.

Cleared over an acre of trees and thick brush so we could put up our new pavilion. Also built a gravel ramp to make deliveries easier and expanded our parking.
