Blackmon Mooring

We had Blackmon Mooring referred to us on a water damage claim from our insurance company. Aside from our initial interaction with their assessor, the company exhibited a complete lack of urgency and poor communication throughout the process. A bathroom repair that should have taken 3-4 weeks max took over 3 months to complete. I was told at least 8 times that there is 2 weeks left to completion. I received no regular updates from the project PM, I had to call or just go to the house to learn project progress. The vast majority of the project duration, no work was being done on the house. This was a logistical nightmare for us because we had to live in Airbnbs for 3 months, renewing on a weekly basis, having to change living situations over 6 times during that time with a family of 4 and t

We had remodeling work done by Nico Gomez with Blackmon Mooring in Houston, and he was excellent from start to finish. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented — the kind of guy who takes real pride in his work. The quality of the job was outstanding, and communication was clear the whole way through. Highly recommend Nico and the Blackmon Mooring team for any remodeling or restoration project.

Unfortunately I don't remember the guys name that came to my house to do the repairs but he was nothing short of amazing. He was able to look at the room and say that he could do the job alone in 2 days... I was sooooo doubtful but lo and behold he knocked it out and you can't even tell that the ceiling caved in. Best guy EVER!!!

We used them for water damage. We ended up needing to remodel the whole bathroom. It took a very long time to complete the job and they were ridiculously expensive.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but what I have experienced with this company is awful. Not professional, temperamental, and doesn’t listen to customers. I would not go through this company had I known what the staff was like as well what the prices were. Do not recommend.
