Block 89 Parking Ramp

Easy access parking ramp that is close to the capital. Be aware, parking is expensive for entire days but nights and weekends are usually capped at a certain $ amount.

Ticket machines would not accept our ticket upon exiting. No staff on duty. Call button does not work. No phone number posted anywhere to call. Spent a full hour trying to find a way to leave. Finally rescued by a ticket attendant that just happened to be starting their shift, but I have to wonder what would have happened if I had been on a serious time crunch, or was having an emergency. I cannot believe this is even legal.

Ticket dispenser wasn’t working, but I entered anyways thinking because it was Saturday that they would just charge a flat fee and not deal with tickets. I tried to exit to realize that not only did it still want a ticket, but the customer service call line would not go through even after waiting half an hour. I paid $10 saying I lost the ticket I never actually received. Won’t be parking here again.

Daily limit $27. What i had to actually pay, $37. They keep changing the amounts and are charging more than advertised. I only park here if i absolutely have no other options.

Easy access to the Dane County Farmers market. Clean. Well lit. Fairly priced.
