Blue Mountain Flooring

We had a fantastic experience with Blue Mountain Flooring. From start to finish, they were genuinely friendly, easy to work with, and incredibly attentive. Their customer service far exceeded that of the higher-end flooring companies in town, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. As you can see from the photos, there are lots of gaps and some raised edges. Kyle told me that the gaps were within manufacturer tolerances, so I contacted Karndean. Per Karndean, the gaps appear to come from an installation error. They said if flooring is installed from a center line, gaps should not be present in the field (main floor area). The workers also left a beer can in our bathtub, and spit sunflower seeds into our bathtub, kitchen and bathroom sinks, and gas range.

We had new vinyl kitchen and laundry room floor done. The demolition crew came out the first day and took the appliances to the garage. They tore out the old vinyl floor and discovered there were 5 layers of flooring total. Next day the new subfloor was laid down. The third day Chris the installer came and prepped. He had no help what so ever. He came back on Monday to start installing the new floor. Then Tuesday he installed new baseboards and cabinet trim. He also brought All the appliances back himself and installed a new break in the bedroom. He went above and beyond to see everything was done right by himself. Very courteous and professional

Blue Mountain Flooring did a very nice job, and we are happy with the final product. I give Kyle and Kim a 5 star rating. Most of the installers also deserve a 5 star rating, but there were a couple who did not perform at the same quality level as those who did excellent work, thus a 4 star rating. Kyle is trustworthy and knows his products and the installation process well. We did shop around, but came back to Blue Mtn Flooring because we felt Kyle was the most trustworthy and reliable, and would get the job done right. (And this was a big job for us.) He helped us select the brand and type of flooring and the wood best suited for our home, lifestyle and tastes. And, we love the final product!
