Border Electric Inc

I've used Border Electric twice since arriving in Calais one year ago. Their service was prompt, within 48 hrs, and price was reasonable. I called the other big electric contractor in Calais and was put off weeks, then they'd cancel the day before, three times!!! to re-schedule. Wasted too much of my time. I'm just an average homeowner, not some big commercial client. I'd recommend Border Electric to anyone who wants to be treated with respect.

Terrible customer service, I tried for 3 months to get this company to relocate the indoor section of a heat pump to a different room. When I could finally get ahold of the guy who does the scheduling, he would give me a date, and tell me if anything changes he would get ahold of me. Well the dates would come and go, and they would not show up, or call to tell me they had to reschedule. They did that to me 3 times, wasting tons of my time. They're also pricey for the " service " they offer. I do not recommend this company.

I don't understand what is so hard about calling someone back about a service that they requested. First, you have to Oakland request a service. Then, someone will call you back at some point. Might be soon. Might be later. Might be never. Is this an electric company or is it a front for some other illegal business?? Not sure. The one time that I did receive service on time was at my business and that was only because my contractor ”knew a guy” and that guy tried to get me to purchase 3x more material than what was needed. Not sure if he was trying to take home supplies or if he was just incompetent. Either way, it should have never happened. The five star reviews for this business are most likely from friends and family because that's the way that the cookie crumbles in these parts so

Called them yesterday morning they came out promptly professional very nice people appreciate their help and knowledge definitely call them again if you need any help. Very nice man.

I commend and appreciate the very quick response to our situation with the electrical in our house. Not only did they check our electrical but also called the power company who had to take care of the problem.
