Boulder is quick and efficient. We left Blue Ox extremely dissatisfied with their sketchy pricing and how long it took for fill ups. Boulder is the exact opposite. Honest, fast, and their delivery people have been a true pleasure. I enjoy not waiting six (sometimes) a week or more for a fill. Give them a call! Not happy with Boulder oil. They delivered twice before. This third time they were supposed to come Thursday, but showed up a day early on Wednesday. Driver didn't like the driveway and just left as I ran down the driveway to talk to him. After speaking with them on the phone they said they'll try again Thursday. On Thursday I was working on the driveway with salt removing ice and saw the truck come. He literally just drove by and didn't even try at all. I immediately canceled everything and called Econemy Heating. They showed up today and had NO ISSUES AT ALL coming up the driveway. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional behavior from Boulder and their driver. They cannot even call you before they show up, even if you ask for it. Economy Heating Driver called me before he came.

When anyone asks for recommendations, I will always recommend Boulder Oil in Unadilla. We have been using them for years and their customer service is beyond excellent. Just recently I noticed we were low on our propane, below 20%. We use propane for most everything including heat. We are on auto delivery but somehow we were skipped. Not only did they apologize, they set me up for delivery on Monday ( this happened on a Saturday) a few hours later, on the same Saturday, the owner, yes the owner, shows up with the truck to fill our tanks. On a Saturday! No extra charge! Thank you for remembering your customers are people not just dollar signs!!

I called this morning for oil, but I couldn't get a delivery until Monday and we ran out. I put kerosene in my tank to tide me over, (which I'm told is okay to do in an emergency) but my burner wouldn't re-light. I called Boulder (from whom we purchased our burner for $5000 a few years ago and have been using for oil and service). I asked them to come and re-light our burner for us 5:30pm Friday - willing to pay the $120 for a service call that should be a 15 min. easy fix. We told them we had cash on hand and confirmed directions to the house. Suddenly the secretary said the owner just told her that they refused to come help us until we got an oil delivery.
