Brand Source Appliance Repair

I purchased a warranty for my freezer, and when the ice maker stopped working I was assigned to Brand Source Service. I first contacted them over five weeks ago. To their credit, the initial technician visit was prompt and the diagnosis was quick—they immediately identified that the freezer door needed to be replaced, which I appreciated. However, the experience went downhill from there. When the replacement door was installed, it was very clearly used and in poor condition. The door was dusty and dirty, had permanent marker writing that cannot be removed, leftover adhesive, and generally looked old and gross—completely unacceptable for a “replacement” part. BEWARE They are literally the worst! The guy they sent is beyond rude and unhelpful. He claimed about was broken. Took two weeks to get a belt in came out was here for five minutes and declared that he didn’t realize that the motor was also broken and so he was gonna have to order that part and I would have to wait another two weeks. if you try and call, it’s only a call center. They refuse to connect you to anyone at a local level. It’s promised after promise a phone calls back from a manager and from a supervisor and you never get any response Do not waste your money go with someone else if you actually want your Stuff fixed. THEY ALSO CONTRACT WITH APPLIANCE FACTORY, WHO IS EQUALLY AS TERRIBLE SO UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MAINTENANCE DONE THROUGH A HORRIBLE COMPANY DO NOT USE APPLIANCE FACTO

They are the absolute worst! We contacted them regarding a cooktop repair. The first guy that came out said that a part needed to be ordered to complete the repair and they'd contact us when it was in. They did but we missed the call. It took numerous calls back to them over the course of about a week before we were finally able to talk to someone and get the second service scheduled. That service was scheduled for an afternoon. Over a week ago I had Brand Source come repair a dryer that sounded like a banshee. After $95 and 30 minutes the tech called to let me know he oiled the wheel and it was all good to go. Not a great value, but glad the problem is resolved. My tenant informs me that the tech did not put the dryer back together correctly and the front panel was popped out and the buttons damaged and barely functioning. It's taken a week to get someone to call me back about this issue. I've received several phone calls about replacing the wheel (the tech did not inform me it needed to be replaced nor could anyone give me a cost) but every time it's a different person in a call center who has no idea what I'm talking about in regards to the new damage.
