Mike & Breaking Ground checked all the important boxes...quality work, attention to detail, great communication, and competitive pricing. He had to deal with numerous challenges including bad weather and limited accessibility to the site; though I had to be out of town most of the time, he was always positive and kept me informed so I didn't have to worry. The final product is outstanding - the retaining wall was built right, has totally alleviated my concerns about retaining the earth behind it, and looks great. I have been in property management for almost 30 years and I know how hard it is to find good vendors. Working with Breaking Ground has been a pleasure, from their craftmanship to communication. Michael has just been wonderful to work with. He can handle big and small jobs and recently completed a retaining wall project with one of my communities. I was very happy with the job done by Breaking Ground. Mike is extremely easy to work with and has some great ideas to add to a home project. He provided an estimate and finished the job with no surprises. We had a year re-graded, a patio and fire pit with flagstone built, and 2 large retaining walls. It looks great, and it was all designed in collaboration. I highly recommend.
