BrightView Landscapes

Terrible landscaping company. Our HOA has a contract with these guys. Nearly three weeks ago (19 days to be precise), one of their ride on mowers slammed into our fence damaging it (see pics). I filed a service request that very day with Brightview via their portal. They responded it was added to their ‘repair log’ and that was it. No one came by to inspect it. No one offers an apology. So after nearly three weeks I repaired it myself. These guys clearly only care about collecting their monthly fee from our HOA. We’re locked into a contact we can’t get out of so they clearly only do the bare minimum. Our HOA is clearly to blame as well for signing a contract with such an awful company.We keep losing more and more services. Apparently they no longer trim the trees in our yards any longer. O

I absolutely love this company but what I dont love is reckless drivers. I watched this truck cut off multiple people literally chase someone down then roll the window down to argue with them. Not saying the original car wasn't wrong but they could have seriously hurt someone trying to get revenge. (My daughter took the picture from the passenger seat)

After attempting to verify their legitimacy, I discovered several troubling issues: Refusal to Provide License Number – When I called both the local and corporate offices, they refused to disclose a contractor license number (required by Florida law) and hung up when asked. It is also not listed on their website. DBA/Name Mismatch – The advertised business name does not appear in Sunbiz (Florida’s Division of Corporations), making it very difficult to verify who the actual legal entity is. False BBB Claim – On their mobile website, BrightView claims to be “BBB A+ Accredited.” However, BBB.org shows they are not accredited. This is deceptive to customers. Registered Agent Error – Their Sunbiz filing shows “CT Corporation Systems” as Registered Agent, which is incorrect. The proper name

BrightView has the potential to be a great landscaping company, but where they fall short is supervision of their employees. As a non-professional with an electric lawnmower, I should not be able to do a better job than your company and yet, here we are. While I could spend more time commenting on the numerous damages to my neighbors homes, I can only personally comment on the inconsistency of mowing and edging on my own home. Most weeks, I have to go over their work with my own equipment. Additionally, their staff mowed and destroyed the same gutter splash block on three separate occasions. When there has been an issue, such as replacement of the splash block or irrigation, they were quick to come out and resolve the issue, which I greatly appreciate. I usually don’t post negative reviews but for this driver of this truck at 6:18pm on 10/24/2024 for cutting off multiple drivers at the 192 intersection and old lake Wilson causing two almost accidents I will. If your company drives like an arrogant person, must reflect your work as well. See photos for the driver
