My twin daughters really enjoy fencing since starting at the Bronzeville Fencing Academy almost 2 years ago. Both Coach Kasey & Coach Malcolm are awesome! They’re respectful to the all the students and require respect is shown to all those at the Academy. They teach discipline, dedication and hard work. The academy also provides info STEM workshops and other resources to kids who may otherwise not have access. I love that it is on Southside because most fencing academies are in the suburbs and it is great for kids to see a Black family own business giving back to the community.
This is such a wonderful organization! The coaches are very committed to the development of the fencers within the sport and in life! I highly recommend this fencing club!
Bronzeville Fencing is a true asset to the community and makes a positive impact on every child they encounter.
As an adult it was difficult for me to find a fencing academy. Then I discovered Bronzeville Fencing Academy. They accepted me and made me feel welcomed. I learned the basics. It is a great caaring and all inclusive place to learn this art. I am going to enroll my granddaughter. I feel she will do better here than with her current school.
