Two years ago, my wife and I decided to do some home renovations. We started with the bathrooms. We hired a local contractor who will remain nameless. From day one, it was a disaster. Each new day brought new problems, aggravation, and mounting stress. On some days, no one even showed up to work. There were problems with every aspect... plumbing, electrical, cabinet assembly, shoddy carpentry, and a combative contractor who made nothing but excuses for the work being done. Needless to say, we were reluctant to go forward with additional remodeling.
