In the past year Brothers G have painted both the inside and outside of my house and I can easily say these are the folks to go with if you are looking for paint and/or carpentry. These guys are incredibly skilled, showed up on time every morning, and were great working with my wife and I on both projects. They're also really nice and kind people. Brothers G are awesome. Our house is over a hundred years old, original cedar shingles in most of the house and very little had been done to maintain the outside of the house in the last 20 years. Quotes for the work that I got from other painters either didn’t account for carpentry, or just gave us a flat amount without breaking down what the paint would cost, no details or explanation - which made me think they hadn’t really looked at our house. Brothers G were very honest and gave an amount for the paint that listed out all the products they would use on the house, and said that the carpentry might hopefully be this amount but would probably end up costing more. These guys are professionals. I highly recommend them. We bought our house five years ago and have been rehabilitating it since. Its condition was beyond a typical fixer-upper. Exterior paint was one of the many things neglected. The color of our house was a hideous blue, it was peeling, and several clapboards were broken or rotted. We called Brothers G on personal recommendation. Adam provided an itemized estimate. It was so detailed that it convinced me of his honesty and expertise. A couple weeks later they began. I had no idea how much work goes into exterior painting. First they scraped and sanded, then power washed, then replaced broken and rotted clapboards, then primed, then patched, and then painted.
