Bryan Center Parking Garage

Perfect place to park for the Chapel and University Store. It’s $2 per hour with no daily maximum and you can park here for the admitted student events. (The free lot is a short bus ride away) Those reviews which complain it says “permit only” are using the wrong entrance. Keep driving down Science Road towards the roundabout and turn right. You will find an outdoor lot as well as the main entrance to the multilevel garage.

Covered parking, two bucks an hour. Take your ticket with you. Pay on the way back to your car, just like the airport.

For event parking (Reynolds, Page, Duke Chapel ) this is the one of the most disorganized and frustrating parking alternatives I can imagine. They used to collect a fixed fee on the way in so that traffic flow on the way out kept moving. But on my last visit, fees were collected on the way out so each car had to stop at the exit barrier to insert their ticket. With everyone leaving the event at the same time, this created an incredible bottleneck and close to an hour wait i(in the garage fumes) to exit. It was absolutely ridiculous… and completely unnecessary. Get it together, Duke. It’s called customer service! Update: Went to a show yesterday and things have gotten even worse. Very little parking fee for visitors during the graduation week. Few minutes walk to Duke Chapel from this garage.

Wonderful and plentiful parking spaces in a garage convenient to the Bryan Center, Duke Chapel, and Page Auditorium. Get ticket when you enter and keep it with you, then pay at station before returning to your car.
