I was giving them a chance to make this right, but they are ignoring my calls. Called them in for a professional cleaning, as this is our 2nd winter in this house and we love the fireplace. Tech came out and told me he couldn't do the cleaning, because the firebox was damaged, and there was too much creosote buildup. He said there was a process they could do that would take half a day to deep clean the creosote, then they had a machine that would be placed above the damper and spray a ceramic coating to cover and reshape the Firefox, improving smoke removal and making it safe to use again.
