BTU Control

I called Neil at BTU during a heat wave this summer. I was a new client and contacted them about 4 o’clock on a Friday. He responded immediately and showed up with his guys an hour later. Has been extremely helpful, and reliable and responsive. Highly recommend.

Neal is perhaps one of the most professional, polite, responsive and first-rate tradespersons I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Returned my phone call within an hour, on the weekend no less, and had the problem diagnosed and repaired the same afternoon. Cannot recommend Neal or this company highly enough!

We had an issue with our forced hot air heater, unfortunately it had to stop working at 630pm with a 24 degree temperature outside. Neal, Amy and the BTU team were extremely professional and knowledgeable and was able to get someone out to the house fast and got the heating system back up and working.

I had issues with the HVAC unit on my rental on the Island over a busy summer weekend and needed it repaired ASAP. Unfortunately, the contractor who installed it a year ago could not be reached. I was referred to BTU Control. Neal and his team were able to find an opening in their schedule the next day, which was on a Sunday. They were on time, professional, and neat. They quickly found the problem, made the repairs to get the system working properly, and even went above and beyond to check the other systems in the home to ensure they were operating efficiently. I highly recommend BTU and plan on hiring them again for my future HVAC needs.

Neal, the owner, is a great guy who knows his stuff. I’ve seen some reviews that complain about responsiveness. I suspect they don’t understand the demand on companies like BTU that can’t always predict the time a particular job will take and often have to reschedule/reprioritize based on the day’s demands. That’s particularly so because Neal makes sure to do a thorough job and confirm that everything is working perfectly before he leaves your home.
