2 Stars – Second star only because yes, they did build a house. Workmanship Issues: Front, back, and side entry doors were installed incorrectly and all had to be reinstalled. I was charged for the full install. One employee lost a part of a door during construction; the company acknowledged this and said they would fix it. Closet doors remain uninstalled two years after the build. Closet racks were not secured to the wall and eventually fell over. On many long 8.5-hour workdays, little to no progress was made. In some cases, an entire day’s visible output was a single piece of trim—rough cut and hastily applied. Building Dreams should be your first call. I got a hold of Troy and he was out within a few days to brush hog behind my house. It was very overgrown and, as always, he went above and beyond and did a great job; clearing more than we both thought possible.

I attempted to see what Building Dreams Construction could offer but was more disappointed by the lack of communication in just trying to meet with someone for my project. I had to message twice on their website before I even got a response and that took almost two weeks. When they scheduled a day and time to meet, their representative is clearly unable to manage their schedule and did not show up. I received no message by phone, text or email as to why. As for their work quality, I cannot comment but clearly there are issues of task management with their initial contact and customer engagement. On top of the owner, who will push the responsibility of contact follow up onto the customer and make excuses for their employees due to them being family members for their shortcomings and try to

Love the finished look of our main floor remodel. Glad to see our 80s kitchen gone and like the new open concept updated kitchen and living room. Troy had a great suggestion of reconfiguring our steps to basement, which gained us 40 extra inches in kitchen space. Workers just need to focus on paying attention to quality and details so things can be done correctly the first time.

Building Dreams Construction built our custom home from conception to finish. They started this project just ahead of the COVID nightmare and all that went with that regarding supply issues, labor, etc. They kept the project ON TIME, and ON BUDGET despite all the challenges. Of course there were moments where grace had to be extended given the circumstances. But BDC met the challenges. Building a home is NOT for the faint of heart! From our first encounter with John for concept and design to our last meetings with Miles and Nicole, BDC did a fabulous job. Even under the toughest conditions the industry has seen in many years, the project got done with very few hiccups. BDC allowed us to pick out our own finishes and was flexible with regard to minor plan changes as the project progresse
