The entire team did a fantastic job from estimating to completion. The crew showed up on time, they were polite, knowledgeable and respectful of our property. We were getting some pretty bad drafts and clearly had insufficient insulation in our crawl space, we were under there and could see how it needed significant improvement. Not any more! We are much, much warmer and the sprayed in foam insulation even eliminated some of the subfloor creaks (bonus!) The air movement (CFM's) decreased in our home by 750 CFM's. No more wind tunnels. We could have done it our selves but it would have taken much longer and cost us more. They also removed a lot of old metal decommissioned furnace trunks that needed to be cut out. What a wonderful company. Spoke to their rep at the Seattle Home Show and before you know it, my 1943 home is clean, insulated, and running about 3 degrees warmer than before (March). The team was extremely communicative throughout the process ensuring I understood what was happening at every step without being condescending- a rarity in most construction spaces. The pressure testing exposed air gaps which were sealed with amazing post test results. They installed a proper fan exit, sealed all can lights, and provided a cool space age zipper door so no cold escapes the plywood access point. After looking long and hard for the right company, I decided to contact Building Performance Pros LLC.Tarah came out quickly and got us an estimate on site. Her communication and professionalism were excellent. The crew that came out was amazing. Daniel and Shane answered every single question or concern, and Tarah also was so vital in answered every single question I had. The work Daniel and Shane did was great. They took amazing care in making sure the site was cared for and clean at all times, and really respected my property. The work they did was night and day and I was so thankful for their attention to detail. Tyler, who is Tarah's spouse, i believe, and owner, did our air sealing testing. Attic cleaning, pest remediation and re-insulation. We are so thrilled to have used Buillding Performance Pross for out attic needs. We had tuns of pest waste and old insulation that got cleaned, sanitized and re insulated better than before. It was so easy and convienent working with this local buisness. From inspection and bid through the completion of the project the employees at Building Performance Pros were professional, friendly and more than willing to educate me on what was going on in the crawlspace at our home was stellar. While doing the work the crew members were polite and kept the work area clean. The project manager checked in with me every morning, told me what they expected to get done and in the evening showed me pictures of progress and asked if I had questions for them. I really appreciated the conscientious interactions. When they encountered unanticipated problems they talked to me, gave me options and went way beyond what I expected in resolving the challenges.
