Bushel Stop

Approximately three months ago, I spent about $400 on plants from your nursery. One of the plants never performed well from the start and ultimately did not survive, while all of the other plants from the same purchase are doing extremely well. I returned to the store hoping for some form of goodwill accommodation. I was not asking for a refund, only a credit toward another purchase or a partial discount, such as 50 percent off a replacement plant. I also purchased all recommended potting soil and drainage materials from your store and followed proper planting guidelines, so I do not believe the issue was related to care or installation. Spent a few hundred dollars on a 6’ Kentia palm and noticed a spider mite infestation within a week. The plant was isolated in my bedroom so no other house plants could be the cause of the problem. Contacted Bushel Shop and was told there is no refund or exchange for the sick plant. I have spent hours trying to save it. Horrible to buy a new plant and it be infested.

Just discovered this beautiful nursery! Why would I ever go to home depot ever again for plants!! Staff is very friendly. Only thing is paperwork is too long at register. Need a simpler operation when paying.

Love going to the Bushel for my plants and especially my Bonsai needs. Great selection of beautiful plants and starter Bonsai plants. This place has about everything you need for your garden. Great staff to assist.

I raise monarch caterpillars year round and I have purchased so much milkweed from this store, as well as sent many others to this location but last week, I got two new milkweed plants from here and they must have been sprayed with pesticides because my 8 adult caterpillars each took one bite before freezing in place and dying. I called to report this and see if I could get new plants and also wanted to warn of this issue so others didn’t experience the same and the manager was so rude about it, saying “well we don’t take returns on plants so there’s nothing more I can do for you.” Don’t buy your milkweed from here and expect them to care about the safety of their plants meant for butterfly gardens.
