C Niglio & Son Electrical Contractors

My great experience with Niglio & Son started with the estimator, Chuck Sr. I bought a 102-year-old home so my list of upgrades was LONG - about 35 items. Chuck was patient, gave my projects and desires his full attention and he offered much more creative solutions than the other two contractors I met with (and he's just a fun, witty guy!) He's not shy about waving you off projects that could open a can of worms in an old house and be more trouble than they're worth. Niglio's prices were phenomenally better than their competitors and it didn't take terribly long to get the work scheduled. Chuck Niglio is a rip off artist and I’d never recommend his company. He charged us way over market for the work he did and only did the work he wanted to do. That said, we had to hire another electrician because Chuck refused to do the work we discussed with him. He just wanted to instal lights (cheap, commercial lights) at $300-$315 per light. Thankfully we ended up working with a master electrician who was professional, courteous and on time every day he worked with us. I think the work they did was decent (however one outlet was definitely installed poorly). Get referrals and quotes from other master electricians. He’s a pain to deal with and we are sore that we ever met him let alone worked with him.

This is the second time I've used this company and the second time I've been thoroughly satisfied with their service. The gentleman taking the call very accurately transcribed the mumbo jumbo from the HVAC specialist that I relayed to him over the phone, and he understood exactly what I said even when I didn't. I got an assessment the next day, and I had a tech scheduled the day after that. Even the tech called to give me updates to potential schedule changes. He came, did the work satisfactorily, and that was everything was resolved within 48 hours. Definitely recommend.

I have used Niglio and Son Electrical Contractors for years. I have always received prompt and highly courteous service from his electricians, and most of all from Chuck and his son. His prices are very fair as well.
