No one touches my trees but him and arborists he recommends. He has taught most of the best arborists in south Florida. You have to be crazy to let some of these companies that say they know trees, work on your trees. Lots of companies will overcharge and darn near kill your trees. Using Hoyt is a must.

I asked Way to advise on a single sick palm tree in our front yard, not expecting anything more. But not only did he explain what was happening to that tree, and what I should do about it, he took the time to check all the trees on the property and went into great detail about how they should be maintained. He even pruned a mango tree! Way is a great source of expert information and lots of fun to talk with besides.

The palm tree in our front yard was having an issue with rot around the base. We had moved into the house two years ago and there was existing damage. I made an appointment for a consultation to see what could be done for the palm tree. Way Hoyt came out to take a look. He arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable. He informed me that the damage was caused by weed eaters. He informed me that eventually the tree will need to be removed. Way provided me with details on how to take care of our other giant palm in our backyard to prevent it from having the same issue, what fertilizer to use, and what water schedule to set up for our entire yard.
