Cal North Forestry - 24/7 Emergency Tree Service, Fire Prevention & Landscape Maintenance

I asked for a quote from Cal North Forestry for removal of an oak tree in my front yard. They quoted me $1,500 to cut the tree and leave the wood in movable pieces (since we have a fireplace), so I agreed. They came out and spent the first day cutting the sycamore tree on the side of my house…wrong type of tree and wrong location. My original inquiry clearly stated oak tree in front yard. I have one oak tree… I called and spoke with Tom about what had happened, and he asked what they could do to fix it. I said they could cut down the correct tree for the price he quoted me. He said, “I guess that’s what we’ll have to do.” This was on a Friday. His guys that were cutting the wrong tree that day said they’d be back “in the morning,” but they never showed up on Saturday. Called, but no answe

I was having trouble getting a problem solved with them . I didn't know they were going through some things. I would like to retract my review and say I appreciate that they made it good. I told them I would retract my bad review and I was sure that Tom would thank me and say thank you for doing it. I guess they had my money so goodby and we don't need any more of your business.

Great crew. Did a great job trimming and cutting eleven trees front and backyard. Cleaned up nicely when finishing the job. Very reasonable. We will definitely be using Cal North Forestry again.

Give these guys a call if you want your trees dealt with very quickly. They had a massive oak tree removed in a very short period of time despite big rains and horrible weather. They did well, and took care of me during an emergency situation. If you need tree removal I highly recommend them.

Had used them several times on my property in Shingletown. Great crew and reasonable prices. Would definitely call them back.
