Callahan A/C & Heating Services

Had them install a Mitsubishi heat pump with duct to all the rooms. They installed the unit as well as the ducting for all the rooms in 2 days. We just had some blown-in insulation and they worked in the crawl space with that but managed to keep the house clean and free of any debris. They were 1 of 3 companies we called for this install and they gave us a unit that's not over or under sized. Price-wise they were the cheapest. Overall we had a great experience with their service.

I have rated them before and I am rating them again now. Do your research on who you have install your heating system. Callahan’s install was on time and on budget but I was recommended them based on their service. When I have needed them they are courteous, cordial and treat your emergency as their emergency and I could not be more grateful for their service. Go with Callahan. Highly recommend.

Truly discreditable conduct by Callahan HVAC. This is our first-ever home. Never used/dealt with HVAC or basements before. Used Callahan HVAC to service our HVAC in Nov-2023. Never use our basement so in Dec-2023 when we took our guest on a house tour, we realized that basement was partly flooded. Turns out that the HVAC water condenser pump was not plugged back in by the Callahan technician when he was performing service - and this flooded our basement, rot our wood, and brought mold on wood and carpet. Informed Callahan in December and repeatedly several days and weeks but either got no response or was bumped here and there by Rick Miles, Maggie Callahan and Kate Callahan. We have used Callahan for annual service on our central air conditioner for years. After twenty years we needed a new system with up to date coolant. We got a couple of quotes including Callahan. Besides the fact that they were the most reasonable, they were the most professional. They were able to do the install within a week or so. They arrived at 8:00 A.M the day of the install, everyone was super friendly, nice and professional. They were done and out of our house by 1:30 P.M. We are ready for the heat wave. :)

I write this as a service to all consumers. I trusted this company and used them for many years. I was recently taken for over 7K for a repair that was not needed and now can NEVER be undone. It has ruined my house. I had a laundry room built just for this house and now I fold my clothes on the couch like back in college. Please, please, learn from my mistake and always secure second and third opinions. That was my bad for not doing that as I usually do. I had a dying pet and other issues going on. As a woman, I suppose I am a perfect target. Be careful out there. The final day of installation was noisy, on March 17, 2023, and it was also my 14 year old cat's last day on earth..
