Got my truck tuned and dyno'd. This guy knows his stuff. He's been around for 25 years. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

Took my truck in for a Dyno tune after installing a BTR Camshaft and could be happier! It was my first time ever taking my truck to a Dyno and Jim made it an easy, Comfortable and fast experience. Very knowledgeable and truck runs better than it ever has HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I strongly advise against taking your vehicle to Cal Speed & Performance. I brought my car to them over a year ago, and to this day, it has not been repaired. Every time I’ve called or visited in person, I’m told it’s “not ready,” with no clear timeline or explanation. At first, they answered my calls, but once I began asking for real updates, they started hanging up on me—completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior for any business. I’ve been patient far beyond reason, but the lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is shocking. My car has been sitting in their shop for over a year with zero progress and no resolution in sight. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. They performed a smog-legal LS swap on my 1990 Blazer, and it passed the referee inspection and is completely legal to register and drive. The attention to detail with the wiring, and cleaning up existing wiring was top-notch. They also found solutions to utilize the internals of the transmission I purchased with an alternate case to not have to adjust the stock mount point of my transfer case. There were also some minor issues with a power steering and trans dip stick gasket leak, which they fixed at no additional charge after pick up. The engine and transmission run well, and are a fantastic upgrade at a reasonable price compared to other quotes I had received. From a technical perspective, I would give the shop 5 stars.
