Please learn from MY mistake and get a written estimate from Phil before doing business with him. I trusted Phil with a small project that ended up costing me at least 40% more than it should have due to the very slow pace of the hourly work that was done. During this time, I asked Phil twice to give me an estimated cost of the day, which he avoided answering. He left our family room Den, with dust and insulation on the floor and furniture. I called Phil twice about this, and emailed him to talk about this before placing the review. He offered me $100 discount which I accepted, however I would think twice about recommending Caretakers Electric. Probably a great guy to drink beer with - and a good man overall, but just get that written estimate!

I tried to use him. He set a appointment and didn’t show up so I test him. He text back that he had our appointment scheduled for the next day so I said ok see you tomorrow. He came the next day and we went over my needs. He said I will work up a quote and get it back to you in a week. After two and a half weeks I reached out to him and his reply was “yeah it’s been really busy”Three weeks and nothing. He has no follow through.
