As a NWFA Certified installer of hardwood floors, I can honestly say that Carlisle Wide Plank Floors are the Rolls Royce of wood floors. Not only a dream to look at and admire, the perfection from the mill is just untouchable in a wide plank floor. Don’t get me started on the quality of the material, I could go on and on and on. Their client relationships are first rate. Today I needed a sample for a client. I usually get Lynne, who is awesome. Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Sasha, who was fluent in wood floors. In a mere few minutes, she found the sample my clients were looking for, put in a request in for me, and then even followed up, a couple hours later to make sure I knew they were available to me. Top notch. Best all around, hands down.

We purchased over 8000 sf of very expensive engineered American white oak from Carlisle and we regret. Approximately 13 percent of planks have checking and cracking. I have confirmed that installer and builder did everything by following Carlisle’s handbook. Point to be noted is that Seattle / Bellevue area is text book perfect for hardwood and if we are facing issues here, I can’t imagine what would happen in other areas. I would like to think that I am not the only customer facing this issue from this company. My installer is one of the best in the area and my builder uses hardwood all the time. They are all scratching their head and wondering why this is the only brand they have had issues with Beware
