Carlson provided an outstanding work ethic, excellent customer service and advice, and an "extra mile" attitude. They machine-sanded and refinished 1,250 sq.ft of oak flooring plus hand-sanded a massive two-storey staircase in our 1930's residence. They worked carefully, efficiently, and as quietly as possible and left the job clean. Three coats of oil-based varnish. Absolutely the best floor refinishing I've ever experienced in 40+ years of building restorations. Highly recommend Carlson.

We have used Carlson Floor Service to refinish the hardwood flooring in two of our homes. They have always over-delivered and the floors were beautiful. Would recommend them highly - they are meticulous, professional, and reasonable.

What a transformation! We had a bit of water damage to our floors from a frozen pipe and after a few other contractors led us astray we found the professionalism and dedication of Doug and his crews. We had to adjust scheduling due to our travel schedule, but when we found an opening this winter we took it! Micah and Matt led us through the process with ease. Every day they tidied up their work space and effectively communicated the Next step in the process. That oil based sealer and stain is gross on the nose but we used fans and air purifiers to also live in the other side of the house while work was being performed. The end product is stunning! Mad props to a great team and a job well done.👍

We contacted Carlson Floor Service after my daughter bought a home and we found hardwood floors under the carpet. What a great surprise! However, at some point they had changed the HVAC system and we needed patching as well and floor refinishing. Doug came out the same day and gave us a very reasonable quote. They also demonstrated a great deal of integrity by adhering to the schedule and maintaining a very high standard of workmanship.
