I’m not rating the technicians here, as we've only seen them once, but the customer service is absolutely terrible. After waiting over four months for a part that was supposedly "ordered," we were never given an update—just vague excuses. Turns out, the part was backordered, but no one bothered to communicate that until we pushed for answers. Even worse, we were flat-out dismissed as clients when we expressed our concerns. Instead of offering a solution or even acknowledging our frustration, we were met with cold indifference and combative behavior. It’s frustrating when a company doesn’t take responsibility and treats customers with such disregard. A simple, honest update would’ve made all the difference. We had Carolina Heating and Cooling confirm a coil leak with our Goodman unit. We were told a coil was ordered June 12th 2025. It is now Oct 22nd 2025. After calling to check in 3-4 times over 6 weeks we simply asked for an update every 2-4 weeks. We NEVER received a call nor the repair. I called today and spoke with Tracy. When I expressed my frustration (without swearing btw) she yold me they would not service us and hung up on me. I tried calling backand they would not answer. We went through 4.5 months with a leaking coil, no updates, and poor customer service. My advice is to avoid this business. Thee are plenty of other HVAC places out there. Ask yourself one question - "Do I want to go through the hottest part of the Summer with a unit not working?" If the answer is yes then choose

Great and fast service! Called Carolina on a Monday morning around 8 after experiencing issues with my mom’s HVAC unit all weekend. Got a call back by 9. The service guy, Thomas, arrived by 10:30. The issue was identified, thoroughly explained to me, part replaced and coils cleaned by 11:30. Thomas was very polite and represented the company well. Carolina will definitely become my mom’s go to HVAC company.
