Carolina Prestress Corporation

In my experience Carolina Prestress sells an inferior product and does not stand behind their warranty or guarantee when there are production problems. We were sold architectural split face masonry units that were supposed to have water resistant qualities. As evident in the attached pictures which were taken during an active rainstorm, many of the architectural concrete masonry units that were sold to us do not possess such qualities. Clearly some blocks are saturated, and some are not. These issues were brought to Scott Askin's attention (owner of Carolina Prestress) and he refused to stand behind his product. As a construction co. that operates in the midlands, we have always received great service, and products from Carolina Prestress. They are priced fairly, deliver custom products in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend.
