We are enjoying our new patio and fire pit that Carolina Scape Artists designed and installed for us. They showed up to our first scheduled appointment, provided an estimate and computer rendering of our potential project. Throughout the process, we were consistently updated on the progress of our project. The entire team was very professional, and hardworking. We are so happy with our completed outdoor living area. We highly recommend Carolina Scape Artists to anyone who wants to work with an honest hardscaping company who produces high quality workmanship. Once completed, their design estimator explained everything in detail, and provided us with our 5 year Warranty paperwork.

You can't run away quick enough! I hired Eric Tyson and Carolina Scape Artists to build a Patio for my Townhouse in Leland NC and paid them a deposit on June 15, 2018 and another deposit on August 24, 2018. The project was supposed to be completed by September, 2018. Day after day, week after week, month after month, Eric gave me 1,000 excuses as to why he is delayed and why he will start next month, or the month after that. It is now August 2019, and they still have not started the project. Meanwhile, even though he acknowledges he breached the Contract, he refuses to return my deposit, claiming he still intends to complete it. Eric Tyson and Carolina Scape Artists are the worst of the worst. Untrustworthy and dishonest to the core.

My family has a vacation home in South Carolina and we decided to spruce up our backyard with a beautiful, brand new outdoor kitchen patio area, complete with a fire pit - the works. Thanks to Eric and the Carolina Scape Artists team, all of my expectations were not only met, but far exceeded. Any minor hiccups that came up, I was always immediately informed and the matter was handled as quickly and professionally as possible. The work was done true experts and timely. It was a pleasure to work with Eric and his team. I 100% recommend Carolina Scape Artists for any scape work needed!

We have been enjoying our beautiful and superbly built fire pit, patio, and bench since August, 2017. Eric and Karen were great to work with. Their design team provided us with the necessary documentation so we could gain approval from our HOA. The contract was clear and pricing never adjusted except when we changed the scope of the project. The work area was kept neat, and Eric personally supervised or performed the tradecraft. Even though there were some supply and distribution challenges out of their control, which lengthened the time the project took to complete, Eric and Karen kept us up to date through proactive communication. They even made up for the delay by providing plants for the planter area. In the end we have a great outdoor feature space that we could not be happier with.

Worst experience ever. They took our money and have yet to complete the work and only to find out the reviews were fake after contacting the people listed. Asked for a refund and got the run around each time.
