Carolina Weatherization

We recently partnered with Carolina Weatherization to seal our attic and add additional insulation to bring it up to R49. We chose them because they were one of the companies recommended by Duke Energy and also because of their excellent reviews on Google. Matt came out and assessed our attic and provided a very competitive proposal to seal and upgrade our insulation to R49. He was very professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and was helpful in pointing out some problem areas in the attic for us. Matt is awesome! Let's say if you don't go with this company, you'll be severally disappointed. The Carolina Weatherization team, (Matt, Eric, Chris and Brian) are phenomenal! I considered putting in insulation in October to support my energy costs and went through several quotes with other companies prior to selecting this team. I am incredibly happy that I reviewed this quote and chose this team. They let me know they were on the way prior to arrival, took impeccable care of my home by laying down cloth, wearing booties, and doing a bang up cleaning job prior to leaving. This is a well run company. The people are professional, the work they do is top notch, and they even clean up after themselves. They weatherproofed our top floor/attic and insulated the eaves. Matt Phillips and his team did an amazing job on several projects we had. They encapsulated our crawlspace, installed a dehumidifier (provided wireless humidity monitor), installed a bath fan, replaced an old can light, and added insulation to our attic and bonus room knee walls. Their workmanship is top notch and their pricing was competitive. The team was professional and detailed oriented. We just bought an older home that had some serious insulation issues in the attic. Carolina Weatherization came out today and it looks like an entirely different attic! The guys were so courteous and efficient - it was raining this morning and they took extra care to place drop clothes everywhere and cover their boots. They worked tirelessly all day in this awful heat and I was so impressed! Matt was a pleasure to work with and we are confident this will make a huge difference in our energy bills. Highly recommend!
