Carpet Plus

Store had a decent showroom filled with options but the help was terrible. Seemed like all they wanted to do was sell me what they thought I wanted without listening to what I was asking for to get me out the door faster. Even though big box stores are a pain and I support locally owned businesses, can't support this one.

Theresa was wonderful to work with. She helped us pick out the perfect carpet for our house. Very plush and at a very good price compared to other carpet stores. The install went very smooth. We have a big house so the install took two days. The first day they ripped up the old carpet and put down the pad and tack strips. The next day they came in and installed all the carpet. Thank You!

I'm proud to support this locally owned/operated family business! No one can beat Carpet Plus pricing and knowledge of flooring options/design and bonus, the Topeka store usually has carpet remnants. Unlike the big box stores, Carpet Plus began their business right here in Kansas (1965) and that's where their focus has remained. With less than 100 employees total (20+ are admin/headquarters) between fifteen stores they have an extended family feel and they utilize experienced installation specialists.

No prices. No help. Box stores all provided help immediately. I’m sure they were just to busy. However we were the only customers and I had to brush cobwebs out of my hair while exiting. Oh well only wasted 10 minutes. Moving forward

Probably the worst communication my wife and I have ever dealt with in our lives. We had somebody they sent out to measure our basement. We never heard back. Finally, we called asking if they got the measurements. We then went in, selected our carpet, PAID for it, and was told once again they would be in contact with us in a few days to schedule the install. 10 days later, we hadn't heard a thing. We called yet again asking the status. Finally when we got onto the calendar, the two guys that showed up for the job on a Friday had every excuse in the book and left neglecting to install the carpet. I even tore the old carpet out and cleaned up myself beforehand. After calling back and waiting several hours, we finally got several apologies and a new time to get our carpet installed another 5
