Carpet Salvage II

I had several quotes to put sheet vinyl in the Kitchen and Bath, LVP in all the other rooms, and outdoor carpeting in the front porch and sun room. CS II was 7 to 8k lower than the others! My first thought being in the construction business was "When you go for the low ball bidder, you usually get low ball work!". BOY WAS I WRONG! The only reason I ended up using them is I have a friend that used to have rental properties and he usually used them and they always had the best price, and he certainly didn't have any complaints about the workmanship. OH, and I found Tom to be EXTREMELY helpful and courteous. He even loaned me sample rings and boards to bring to my wife to help me make decisions. So, I went with CS II. My in store experience was fine. Everyone was helpful and professional. The installers however left much to be desired. It was a father son team. They were courteous and seemed professional, but looking at their work after leaving I saw they had broken some baseboards, a threshold, & closet shelf. They did a terrible job on the stairs as well. When they came back to do repairs I was astonished at the sorry job they did. The father glued the threshold semi-together actually gluing the wood to my brand new carpet! Never ever again. Wish I could post a picture.🤦🏻‍♀️ And don’t get me started on the stairs. I didn’t bother to call back again...no sense in it if they couldn’t repair their 1st botched job.

The salesman told me he could help me. All I needed was a small bathroom tiled. At first he said he could without a problem. When he came to measure he found complaints and said it was not where he could give me a price ,but he had given me one. I don't think he wanted to do the job. We took our business to another business, bought the tile and laid it ourselves. Sorry your company lost money. We won't waste our time going there again. We are remodeling and will go to a company that wants the business.

My husband and I are very pleased with the quality of the new carpet and padding installed in our home by Carpet Salvage II. The price was very reasonable and we had no problems with the job. Our salesman was Brandon. The installation was very nicely and professionally done by their crew. We are happy to recommend them all.
