Company repaired my chimney and put a cap on it but never checked my chimney access door area inside for fallen debris . I now have a bad leak called him he said he would be out by Friday today. Just want him to look at basement.won't even return a call or text. I sent pictures with texts and contacted him for 6 days. I will never reccommend. A good contractor would have checked my chimney access door at the time job was done to look for fallen debris. Yes I threw him out and would do it again. He also let himself right back in thru the same door after I asked him to leave and started talking to me again. I just want another opinion from a chimney company. Never showed me picture of sealed chimney while getting up on roof but charged me for it,on original job. I told the guy I didn't want

We hired John to repoint a significant portion of our large brick chimney, and he did an excellent job grinding out the old deteriorating mortar and repointing it with mortar he dyed to darken it so it matched and would blend in with the parts of the chimney which weren't in need of repair. In the attached photo you can see his work (the top half of the chimney was repointed). We needed the work done before the winter and he was able to squeeze us in, returning a few times as the weather allowed to make sure the job was completed and done right. He also applied a siloxane waterproofing spray and clear seal to our flashing to fully resolve the leak we were experiencing in driving rain. John was excellent and came highly recommended from my neighbor who also owns a two-story single family home. His response time was great, followed through, and always kept me up to date on progress. The work was top notch, thorough, affordable, and John did a great job explaining everything to me. Overall very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend him!

Friendly, prompt, fulfilled my asks but also didn’t want to charge for jobs that didn’t need to be done. Would definitely come back.

John came over to give us an estimate on our project to fix a crack in our chimney. While we were surprised that he didn’t have a ladder tall enough to get up on our roof to take a look (we had one he could borrow but he didn’t take us up on the offer- our roof is a standard 2-story height), he gave us an estimate, said he could do it within 3 weeks, we confirmed via e-mail, and never heard from him again. We’ve left voice messages and e-mail messages and have not heard back. We certainly hope he is okay, and know that these are challenging times for everyone. Unfortunately we can’t recommend him because he hasn’t responded to us or followed through with his work offer.
