Casey Parking Garage

I came to Scranton to visit my fiancé and paid to park at Casey Parking Garage. I left without a passenger window, thousands of dollars in damage, and an incredibly distressing experience. Despite the building having cameras, there was no accountability or follow-up from management. You’re better off parking on the street. Unacceptable.

Dirty, stairwells are filled with trash and pigeon droppings. Also, smells of urine and cigarettes. There’s an abandoned car that’s been taking up a spot on the second floor for almost a year now. A wonderful place to park if you hate cleanliness

I paid my ticket after a conference. Many other people were doing the same. I was parked on the 4th floor. The line to exit the building was long. I waited 30 minutes in my car, in line. When I put my “paid” ticket in the automated ticket receiver, it said, “Insufficient funds.” It wouldn’t let me exit! The 30 minutes I waited in line EXTENDED my use of the garage. Worse than that, I had to fiddle in my wallet for my credit card to use (no cash @ that receiver.) AND this wasting of time was banking up the other patrons’ tickets. So I ask you, why are you charging people extra time in your garage, when it is your technology that can’t get the drivers out swiftly? Unfair, unhappy, and will not park there again.

Decent. Felt safe. The ticket machine in the stairwell was not accepting my ticket but was able to pay at the gate and get out.
