Castino Painting & Restoration

We are very pleased with the plaster repair and painting work done by Norman and Jose from Castino Painting. We struggled to find someone with expertise in plaster repair (it's a dying art) and got other quotes that were considerably above our budget. Castino came recommended by our neighbor. Mike came to our house and gave us a very fair and reasonable quote. Norman and Jose showed up right on schedule and on time. They were very neat and respectful of our house. They did outstanding work - repairing the plaster and painting the room. They skim coated the entire room with a very thin plaster so as not to "consume" the wood trim. Then applied primer and two coats of paint. Looks great. Will definitely use Castino again! Before and after pictures below.

Castino Painting and Restoration (John, Peter, Mary, and the whole team!!) have done magnificent work on our home. They stepped in after another contractor walked out on us and finished the job beautifully. Their work included everything from fixing bathroom plumbing and painting to installing floorboards in a complicated, multi-level room. They also removed an old, ugly, and dated heating/AC unit and patched the wall so it now looks fresh and clean. I had Castino Painting and Home Services repair damaged cedar siding on my exterior chimney caused by woodpeckers, and they also replaced areas of water-damaged wood once the siding was removed. Mike, Willie, and the painting crew were excellent to work with from start to finish. Their communication was clear, they stayed on schedule, and the quality of their work was outstanding. The team was professional, courteous, and clearly takes pride in doing things the right way.
