Castle Air Conditioning & Heating

Was recommended by a family member, but was such a disappointment. He installed a unit that’s too large for our house which has caused us to have to run it constantly resulting in higher electric costs and humidity issues. We are not A/C professionals so we didn’t know it was too large - when we learned the issue and reached out, we were told to just run the unit more and get a dehumidifier. Additionally, he wired some stuff incorrectly resulting in overflow issues. We used them trying to save money and it’s resulted in costing us money…do no use them!!! We are now going to have to get a new unit and replace ducts.

Castle did a service call for the sweetest 98 year old, visible ill woman. She lives alone. They threw the breaker for the AC and charged her $99 for 60 second visit. Then the management company of the condominium wouldn’t pay either. Yes it was her fault the breaker ti the AC was off, technically. I was sad that they didn't have a heart. My AC company owner said he would not have charged her. Another AC repair person I asked said that he would have had her check the breaker on phone before doing the call. You decide.

I can not express to the public the amount of cost and frustration this company has caused me. The installation was so bad! They left gaps where the attic air mingled with the cool air and created mildew leading to a problem with ALL vents and ducts and motors. The installer just stuck the indoor units into the closets. The outside units I was told would be top of the line units for the coastal climate. They installed the cheapest units they could get. This company is totally dishonest, rude, and either negligent because they do not know what they are doing or intentionally ripping people off. I checked this business on Sunbiz.org and found that they are incorporated twice. Not sure why but it is usually because you get enough complaints on one incororation you move to the second to hide

I hate to share this precious Gem, I Highly recommend Castle Air! This is the best AC company I have ever used. They are honest and straightforward. Their prices are very good.
